The Perth Wing Chun Academy is owned and operated by Sifu Peter, Sifu Nathan & Sifu Daniel. We are in direct association with The World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association which is governed by the legendary Grandmaster Cheung (as pictured below)


In amongst working full time jobs, we are directly responsible for conducting classes and expanding the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu in Perth, Western Australia.

Together we are extremely committed, dedicated & passionate towards providing the highest quality Wing Chun Kung Fu in Australia. We believe that although the principles of Wing Chun are the same, the art must evolve and address the ever-changing landscape of violence in our streets. Collectively we believe in empowering our students to feel safer and more confident in a world full of conflict.

We embrace the challenge of continually learning and growing physically and mentally in own ability as Instructors and in doing so we hope to inspire and improve the ability and wellbeing of every single person involved in our Wing Chun Family.

Profile of Sifu Peter Guy

Sifu Peter Guy discovered Wing Chun Kung Fu in 1997 after training in various styles since his late teenage years. It was through a correspondence course offered by the World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association where his journey began.

In January 2000 Peter was asked to open the first branch representing The World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association in Perth, Western Australia. The Perth Wing Chun Academy was formed soon afterwards.

In 2003 Sifu Peter won The Best Non-Retail Business Award and the Quality Customer Service Award. Sifu Peter has continued to promote Wing Chun and help the academy reach new heights. Sifu Peter Recently graded to Level 6 Provisional Master.

Profile of Sifu Nathan Davis

Sifu Nathan Davis had already achieved Black Belt status in a number of Martial Arts systems before finding Wing Chun. He was initially shocked at how simple, effective & different it was from all the other styles he had done.

Sifu Nathan has extensive experience in kicking, footwork & locks which compliments his training in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

Profile of Sifu Daniel King

Sifu Daniel King began his training under Sifu Peter in 2005, before assisting the running of classes in Morley and Dianella. Teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu is something he prides himself in alongside inspiring students to help maintain a high level of health and fitness. Sifu Daniel also holds a Blue belt in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.
